Marc and I came to the Lord together, said the sinners prayer together, received the baptism of the Holy Spirit one week apart, and the Lord has used us ever since to minister His Glory to the Body of Christ.
I am a Psalmist moving in the gifts of prophecy through music. The ministry of music---as expressed through praise and worship---is one of the most powerful weapons to release the anointing of God's Spirit and destroy demonic oppression.
In 1 Samuel, we read that it was God's anointing overflowing through David's playing that set King Saul free from a tormenting spirit: "...and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David..David took the harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him" (1Samuel 17:13b, 23b.c)
It is the anointing that breaks the yoke and brings release to all those who are bound with Satan’s chains!
When music is inspired by the Holy Ghost, it acquires the same benefits as preaching and teaching, carrying God's anointing and His healing power.
Those who hear and receive God's soothing sounds will be set free from mental oppresion and experience healing in their bodies.
This is the reason why praise and worship is ministring unto the Lord and allowing Him to minister through us unto others is continually being emphazised throughout the Bible.
We must avail ourselves as God's instruments and allow to sing and play through us. What greater blessing can we have than to become the Lord’s symphony to set people free from their bondage: “And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethen to be singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up their voice with joy" (1 Chronicles 15:16).
The Holy Spirit has inspired us to create a music CD called “Healed By His Stripes” (60 minutes), its purpose is to minister Divine healing to those who are bound with pain and affliction.
Healed by His Stripes is free from condemnation, it is edifying, comforting and non-threatening.
It ushers us into God’s Presence through worship, while emphasizing His Word and the need of faith to receive Divine healing.
The CD has soothing music floating in the background with such instruments as flutes, piano, string-synths and guitar (Marc’s main instrument).
